Pioneer Woman

Tomorrow I am going to a Pioneer Woman book signing in Atlanta! For those of you who don't know Pioneer Woman (or Ree Drummond as she is known outside of the blogger world), she is a city girl who married a cowboy from Oklahoma.. She is a cook, photographer, teacher, mom, housewife, ranch hand (from the sidelines), and a superhero.. Okay, so maybe she isn't a superhero, but I aspire to be like her regardless..



Sometimes I like to think that I'm just like her.. For example, I cook (though my food burns sometimes), I take pictures (but sometimes they're kind of blurry), I teach... okay, so maybe I don't teach.. I'm a mom (to three pups), I'm a housewife (well, I'm a wife.. I kind of stink as a housewife/housekeeper).. Ranch hand... not so much..

Okay, so maybe I'm absolutely nothing like her, but I love her.. and want to have her life..

I said all of this meaninglessness (if that's even a word) to say that I'm really excited about meeting her..
